Mount olive college is offering a plan that will put students on a track to finish college faster. It will include extra advising and priority scheduling for courses. The accelerated program can save students 22-thousand dollars—which is what a year at Mount Olive College runs. The college president says the program will only appeal to a small number of students who know what they want from the first day.

Saving that one year of college is really going to help whoever pays for it. The fact is, it’s a good idea to get that sheepskin in 3 years anyway:

http://www.Collegeboard.com says the average cost - per year - for a public college is more than $7,020.
• The average cost for a Private four year college per year is more than $26,500.
• 32% of full time students go to public colleges where tuition is between $3,000 and $6,000.
• And only 20% of private college student pay tuition and fees totaling more than $36,000 a year.
